Anyway, lets get back to the story here.
The clients carpets had not been cleaned in over 3 years and had quite significant amount of soil and staining as one would expect for that amount of time. Seeings that the client had already vacuumed for us we were able to get straight to work and put all our time and effort into restoring the carpet. First we laid down a heavy enzyme pre-spray cleaning solution that eats away at organic matter and dissolves soils and stains. Then as the pre-spray is given dwell time to really do it’s work we started scrubbing the pre-spray through the carpet fibres. This not only helps to break down stains and traffic area soiling but it also ensures that all carpet fibres are evenly coated in the pre-spray cleaning solution – hence better cleaning results. Many of our customers remark that they have never seen a previous carpet cleaner even apply agitation to the carpet like we do.
Finally after all the carpet has been pre-sprayed, agitated and dwell timed we then go about rinsing the carpet with hot water extraction (steam cleaning). This process thoroughly rinses the carpet fibres of dirt, grease, bacteria, viruses and of course the cleaning solution. The carpets came up looking great and the client was very happy with the finished result. We gave her shoe covers to wear so she could walk on her freshly cleaned carpet without resoling it. We informed her that the carpet would be dry with 4 hours as it was a nice hot summers day and her house was well ventilated. She then proceeded to pay with credit card (as we provide this payment method) and she said she would leave us a nice review for our work. This of course made our day.
